I used to work for financial companies helping card members over the phone. I just don't resolve their concern but I also have to provide emotional support like empathy and care. Aside from helping card members I also have to reach my metrics like call handling time which is about time management, filling-out forms and sending email which requires multi-tasking skills. I need to adhere to my schedule and that needs descipline. I have to sell additional cards and persuade card members to upgrade their card to help the company revenue while making sure it's the best for our customers.
As a Customer Support, helping them is not enough I always go above and beyond making sure that I provide a long term resolution. I need to master emotional intelligence so the customers won't feel like they're not valued. I always treat the customers like family so I can provide them the best service that a family member deserves.
