5. Advertising and Social Media Platforms

5.1 Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Advertising

We use Meta advertising products, including Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Lead Ads with Instant Forms, the Meta Pixel, and the Conversions API, to reach potential customers and measure advertising effectiveness. When you interact with our ads on Meta platforms, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and other information you voluntarily submit through lead forms.

Data collected through Meta Lead Ads will be used only for the purpose stated in the ad campaign (such as requesting a demo, scheduling a consultation, or receiving information about our Services). We will not use this data for unrelated purposes without obtaining your separate consent.

The Meta Pixel and Conversions API may share the following data with Meta: pages you visit on our website, actions you take (such as form submissions or sign-ups), your IP address and browser information, and purchase or conversion events. This data is used to deliver targeted advertisements, build custom and lookalike audiences, measure ad performance, and optimize our advertising campaigns.

10.3 Nevada Residents

Nevada residents may opt out of the sale of their personal information. Although we do not currently sell personal information as defined under Nevada law (NRS 603A), you may submit an opt-out request to the contact information in Section 17.

10.4 Residents of Other U.S. States

If you reside in a state with an applicable consumer privacy law (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, or others), you may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing of your personal information. Please contact us using the information in Section 17 to exercise your rights.

10.5 International Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with applicable data protection laws, you may have additional rights including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing. 11. Call Recording, AI Features, and Communication Data

Hot Prospector provides AI-powered communication tools. By using our Services, you acknowledge that:

  • Telephone calls made through the platform may be recorded. Call recording is subject to applicable federal and state laws, and users are responsible for obtaining any required consent from call participants.
  • AI-powered features, including conversation intelligence, call scoring, sentiment analysis, and keyword detection, may analyze call recordings and transcripts.
  • SMS and email messages sent through the platform are logged and may be analyzed for quality assurance and service improvement.
  • Ringless voicemail (RVM) delivery records are maintained.
  • AI assistant and AI agent features may engage with leads on your behalf when enabled.

We do not use call recordings or communication content to serve advertisements. AI analysis is used solely for the purpose of improving the Services and providing insights to our users.

12. Email Integration and Gmail Data

If you connect your Gmail or other email account to our Services, we will only use access to read, write, modify, or control email message bodies (including attachments), metadata, headers, and settings to provide email functionality that allows you to compose, send, read, and process emails within the platform.

We will not transfer this email data to third parties unless doing so is necessary to provide and improve these features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We will not use this email data for serving advertisements. We will not allow humans to read this data unless we have your affirmative agreement for specific messages, doing so is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, to comply with applicable law, or for our internal operations, and even then only when the data have been aggregated and anonymized.

13. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us at the information in Section 17.

In compliance with Meta advertising policies, we do not target advertisements to users under the age of 18.

14. Third-Party Links and Services

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services that are not operated by us, including social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter/X. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

15. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. Because there is no industry standard for DNT compliance, our Services do not currently respond to DNT signals. However, you can manage tracking preferences through the cookie and opt-out controls described in Sections 9 and 10.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through a notice on our website.
